Chadayamangalam's Story: A Glimpse into the Past
The history of Jatayupara is linked to the Jatayu-Ravana battle in the Ramayana. When Ravana was abducting Sita, Jatayu tried to rescue her but was struck by Ravana and fell with severed wings.
